This sh!t has me going crazy....lol...yeah from the bottom end I guess. It sounds like in the top of block, but since noise can travel its hard to determine...I'm taking off the oil pan this weekend and checking the bearings.. I heard I can check them from underneath without taking the rod/piston out. How correct is that bro?JUAN'S_SLOW_EK

bearin or wrist pin changing the oil to a thicker weight will only hide the noise for a lil thats it.. g/l bro i hope you get this rectified.860 member #18

Thanks bro.....and it wouldn't even get quiet for a little with te thicker oil..I mean u can't hear it at idle but once I take off you still hear it some...I will keep you guys updatedJUAN'S_SLOW_EK

if the noise increases when temp goes up and thicker oil seems to be making it go away it would bearing issues either that or ur not getting oil pressure.Jack the car up and listen to knock coming from the block with a screw driver.With the butt of the screw driver against your ear place the tip on the oil pan listening to each cylinder,if you hear differences in knocks or tapping that cylinder is no good.Your already aliminated valve clearence issues and cylinder damage isnt there.....All you can do is compression test,leakdown test,tea spoon of oil in each cylinder and retest compression to see if ur rings are good.To me sounds like oil pump or bearings.G/L

But I have oil psi gauge. And it goes up when I give it gas...but with the thicker oil it reads at the correct psi is supposed to be... HERE IS A VIDEO FROM WHEN I START IT IN THE AM... AFTER WARM UP ITS STILL THE SAME IF ANYTHING A TINY BIT LESS..
