i recently bought a 92 accord lx. 5 speed. this is my first honda and i am wondering wht i should do as my first steps to tune my car to make it better....

Pull that F22 & Drop in a H22 or even a K24 with Hasports NEW Mount kit.

Oh yeah, the K24 will drop right in with Hasport NEW CBK1 mount kit, but the H22 is the Much cheaper alternative with very similiar power output.

H22 swap is your best option IMO.

All depends on the set-up, but Bone stock H22's put down between 160-170whp, & your F22 puts down maybe 100whp.

go with the h22. cuz h23vteclude knows EVERYTHING. i mean EVERYTHING about those so it would be more practical. and cheaper.
btw. i had a 94+ accord. but i like the cb7 so much better.

The JDM H22 is better as far as compression but the same in every other aspect. But the H22 Type S & Euro R H22's are much beefier than the USDM H22 or JDM base H22.

As far as trannys go, The Best 2 H22 trannys are the T2W4 & U2Q7, but good luck finding either. The Best tranny that is somewhat easily acquireable is the M2B4 JDM LSD Tranny.

But in your case, any H22 Short ratio Tranny will get you going.

And yes CB7's are tough if you ask me.

look at this cat breaking out Bisi. Bisi is the SOHC man. His twin carb set-up F22 is Sickly Gross! Bisi uses 4 o2 Sensors to Tune each cylinder!!!:eek:
