i got a H21a prelude 91...i wanna do a swap to an h22 anyone knw da ups nd downs on doin dis??? or should i swap a ZC engine???any help will b thankful....:D

much rather go for the h22 2.2 dohc than a zc 1.6 dohc..... go h22 drops right in and way more horse power than zx

i'm not so sure that motor drops right in... i know you can get hasport mounts for an h22 into a '91 prelude but i'm not so sure your tranny bolts up to the h22. better do your homework first!

If the cars a 91 then i believe you have a b20 motor, if its a 91 si you should have a b21 currently in there. The H22 will go into the car with different mounts i believe hasport makes them like the user above stated. I'm pretty sure the 3rd gen trans wont match up....you should just look for an h23 or h22 trans if you want a direct bolt on. Good luck with this , that will be a fun and quick car to drive if done properly.

the h22 swap is becoming popular with the 3rd gen preludes. the mounts haven't been out for too long so there aren't too many with this swap. it's not one of the easiest swaps out there, but if you got the time and the money, it's well worth it.
