can't you get sued for shooting someone even in self defense?? the person said, like if somebreaks into you house and has a weapon and you shoot but not kill them you can get sued

i don't know how true that is cause it doesn't make sense to me..

yes you are very correct!.. if someone breaks into your house and they threaten you and you shoot them make god damn shure you kill them without excessive force!! ie make shure you get em in a spot where they die or else they can sue you and probably will win

there has been cases when a bungler has broken into a house the owner shoots him and the burgler sue the home owner and wins because of excessive forced used. and guess what the burgler wins the lawsuit even tho he was robbing them.

yup you need to shoot and kill him, but make shure he has a gun or knife,, if a bugler slips and falls in your house while robbing you and gets hurt he can sue also and will probably win!

There was this 1 time this guy was stealing somethin off of a car and the guy came outside and the robber hide under the car but little did he now the owner came outside to leave and ran him over and the robber took him to court and won

you are absoluetly rite ct is not a place were your gun permit means s h i t texas your ok certain places in the carolinas also. forget getting your permit it's a waste of time. a close friend of mines is a fugitive recovery agent and does certain gov contracts that get thrown at him and he went to new york and his partner got busted and his ct permit ment crap over there he was arrested and lost his gun. the bad thing is there is actually people who want it for all the rite reasons and theres others that have it to think there the sh it.

im one of the ones that went through all the classes and paper work and whatnot to get it for the rite reason. im hold a expert shaprshooter classification in the NRA. i shoot in competitions, thats why i got it not to shoot some one stealin my car..
