I totally agree. It was probably one of your thief friends that stole them and saying "watch what happens to their car" and "I'm gonna send all my thief friends after them" just makes you look stupid and potentially puts you at risk of being thought of as at fault for anything that gets stolen in that area soon. Just because you had something stolen doesn't mean you should then go steal from others.
