well i have a buddy who dose not do his own work and went to pepboy on the berlinturnpike and had some rims installed. well when picking up the car he noticed his truck light was on. he trunk was opened to see what he had in it (2 subs and 2 amp) did not really think to much of it. well 2 nights later his amps were stolen.
no damage was dont( pryin lock smashing...ect)
whatever did not think to much of it. 2 more days go by and he comes out to go to school and the car is gone out of his drive way!
week later they find the car about a miles away for said pepboys on the berlinturnpike.
no lock were poped no windows broken. no ingition damage. that means the only way they could get the car was with a key. no one know where he lives as he dose no deal with any other honda owners and at his hosue he parks on the side were it is not seen fromthe street. and he lives in a really good part of a town.
we star to think about all this and we go back the the trunk open at pepboys and he looks int he glove box of his car and his inshurence card is missin( adress on it)
so we talk to the cops and then tell us that we are the 6th person to come to them about a car stolen and the last place it was worked on was pepboys on the berlin turnpike.
seeing there to no hard evidence that it was done due to them or some on that works there there is not much that cops will do but talk to the manager there.
so we went there and asked is they know where to get a copy made of a key and well wouldent you knwo they do it inhouse.
just a heads up watch your stuff around theses kind of place .
o ya the kid owns a STOCK 93 civic 4 door auto. he has some 14'' pepboy wheels put on and they did not even take them the stole the 1k $ system it had in it.
