why an escort....
91-2002 Escorts were built on the Mazda BG chassis..
91-96 Escort GTs came with the Mazda BP 1.8 DOHC Motor
90-94 JDM Mazda 323 Familia GTX came with the same BP 1.8 DOHC , but Turbo and AWD
And if you pay attention to the years i gave above..... the turbo motor came to production first in 1990 with forged pistons, rods, crank, piston oil squirters, block girdle, all stock, and all carried over into the N/A USDM Block

So i import some JDM 323 parts (Turbo, Manifold, ECU, Injectors etc...), put it all together and the end result is this::

So in the end, i build something that although it has been done before... its not at all common... its a hell of a sleeper... and its quicker than alot of shit that ive run so far.... if that makes me a cop... show me a cop thats done this shit and is an ASE certfied tech.
