Ok this thread is for the civic or yet the fwd cars who must not only do one burn out but like 5-6burn outs before they race. I just want to know why must you stay on the road for 20-30min in till you do your 16sec pass? do you think your big burn out till the cords of the tires are showing is the way you get a good 60ft? Please i need you guys to explain this to me!

even with track bite and 22x8's a 230whp na fwd will still have no traction on the streets

we try to lay down a rubber to clean a decent patch for us to launch on and it gets done within 2 3 practice launches

thats for fast fwd's. now the kids in the 15sec civic do it cause they think it helps them.

or if your asking about all the street racers in ny is because they race on concrete and for big$$$$$$ so they want to best possible conditions for them

i dont burnout b4 i race.... i see absolutely no reason to heat up street tire... i prefer a somewhat clutch slipping launch so that i have traction while the dude that dumped out the hole @ 5-6K is spinnin like hell
