you have a bunch of parts sitting on your floor. that doesnt mean its fast.

sucks you have to build a motor to go 12s. i went 11.20 on all OEM audi parts/full interior.

there's a lot of pride that goes into a motor when you build it yourself and not buy it

when you take a motor that does 16 to 17 seconds down the track and you build it to go 12s 11s and 10s that's a major accomplishment in my book.
ill give more respect to the car that was built by the owner.

i have no problems with honda i got an si myself. but i keep it stock because it would be pointless. my s4 went 11.2 with 3k into it. 3k into a honda would get you what? low 13s spinning the shit outta the tires at best? shrug....i guess to each their own.

plus you can pick up an s4 for around the price of a decent honda...you can get an s4 for around 7-8k now.

i wouldnt say many german cars are fast out of the box...a lot of them are pathetic...im not german fanboy either lol i love anything....i even have an si, its just not modded because whats the point? 3k to go low low 11s is great IMO. 3k into a honda to run mid 13s = not cool if you care about going fast.

but yea im partial towards domestic v8s to be honest...thats what my next car will be (going to be a while too).
