No sir you will not have any problems registering a car from rhode island into connecticut. I actually bought a Audi A4 from rhode island and they guy that sold it to me, said they dont give you the title and only a certified piece of paper with the cars information and the owners information with a certified stamp on that piece of paper. Your DMV is familiar with rhode island DMV so you are ok. Just make sure you have that certified paper and a bill of sale to back you up with.. And like always, your going to need to do a emissions test since the car you bought was from another state! good luck, you should be fine with everything.User name is no longer in use! Unless the car has CEL eliminator in it, I seriously doubt the Cat. Converter Readiness code will be completed without a Cat. Make sure the guy didn't just clear the CEL before you got it, if that is the case, the readiness code will not be complete, & will most likely throw a CEL eventually.13203

You better hope that guy didn't remove the check engine light bulb in the gauge cluster, to check turn the ignition to the starting position but don't crank your car.. That way you can see if your check engine light at least comes on and then goes off... And if you don't see your check engine light come on at least during start up then he deff took the bulb out.. And if he resetted the check engine light, the OBD2 scanner will not pass you during emissions for it being on or ready.User name is no longer in use! New User name is POGIMOTO!
