  • I paid Audi to swap my motor today

yea audi swapped my motor today for me on the side of the road in front of my house. i got bored. plus i want to fix the frame, be easier with the motor out.

took it out of the silver one, put it in the black one and finished it. start to fnish in 6 hours. thats on the side of a road with hand tools and zero electric/air tools. book time is 24 hours labor.

good thing i dont work on cars myself huh? these pics were before i started around 12. finished at 6 pm.

ICM (ignition control module), coil pack, plugs. swap the coil pack to start with and see if the misfiring cylinder. changes to where you swapped the plugs. something as simpe as checking the plugs too for correct gap.

doitpropa, it wouldnt be timing simply because on these motors if it was even off half a tooth, it would bend pretty much all the valves. theres really no room for error with that on these cars.
