      yea the dude said it starts up. but im not sure if it would actually run. i dont really care about the bent valve im just dont want to pay $1086759878 for a tow from new jersey. i wanna drive it back if its possible

          i guess all but one.
          its a 97 ek with a 2000 si front. with a ls/vtec. b16 head.

            it'll run depending how bad the valve is bent, but you run the risk of ************ing up the pistons too. i'd tow it.

              I've driven cars with bent/burnt valves for many many miles, but they were all stock. This motor may have closer valve-to-piston clearance, which could cause issues, as dougie said.

              It's a tough call. I'd probably risk it though, but thats just me.

                    i was actually thinking that but i doubt me and ls/vtec are gunna wanna drive 3 hours there then swap a head and then 3 hours back.

                        stock b16 head and a stock ls bottomend.
                        i wanna try it but if something else f#cked up id be out of a car until i got a different motor.

                          its 163 miles. i think tripleA does 100 mile free tow if your a member. butthen the other 63 miles. lol

                            go to uhual and rent a 2 wheel tow dolley its $30 for a whole day. and just find a friend with a tow hook and u can tow it yaself. and ive done that plenty of times from nj to ct without the car beig registered and never had a problem so just give uhual a fake licence plate number for the car your towing
