  • Emissions Help

I posted about emissions help before. I really need to get the car thru emissions. Its a 2000 turbo GSR. Car has been wire tucked, evap stuff removed, running Neptune, and its running the RD1 display. To convert everything back really isn't an option with everything that's been done. If anyone can help me out or provide me with some assistance they would be compensated.

Please shoot me a PM if you can assist. Thank You.

Do you still have both upstream and downstream o2 sensors in the car? I'd say throw in some stock injectors, disconnect your charge pipe, and plug in your stock ECU. If you don't run a CEL then you're good to go. Oh and also you need a catalytic converter for the visual inspection. Unless you know someone lol.

Not really a way around it. Stock injectors. Undo a charge pipe. A stock ovd2a ls Ecu and limp it to emissions and back home.

Register in Maine. No emissions or car tax.

If you got a boy that does emissions. Find someone wit the same car, slap ur plate on it and hand him ur regi so they can use the vin off that. It's not rocket science. But apparently building an emissions compliant car is.

Normally they scan the bar code on the vin sticker in the door jam on obd2 vehicles.

That's what I was trying to find. Someone with the same car as me. I guess 96-01 Red 2 doors are hard to find, lol. I heard they don't scan the vin sticker. They confirm the vin by looking at the dash vin.

Yup. Which is why if u hand over ur reg he can manually put it in.

when i was doing emission i scanned the sticker and checked the dash. rarely typed it by hand. you have to know someone to be able to cheat it in any way.
