  • Brake help!!! No pressure

Wats up guys so I was bleeding my brakes...
I bled the rear one everything good
I bled the front left one, and no pressure came back in the pedal...
I was thinking the caliper may be bad because it had been wearing pads unevenly...
    Please any help???
There's no pressure in the brake pedal, it's to the floor now,
    Bad caliper?
Or something went bad when I was bleeding??
    Thanks

Are you bleeding them alone? If so, how are you doing it?

Also the order to bleed them in is RR, LR, RF, LF.

There's your problem. Pump while the bleeder is closed, hold your foot down while someone opens the bleeder and KEEP YOUR FOOT DOWN until it's closed. Do it on each caliper until no more air comes out of them. Lifting the pedal with the bleeder open pulls air into the system and you'll have no pedal.

That is how I did, do u think it's a matter of bleeding or something went bad, cud the system have no pressure with one bad caliper? Should I redo all the bleeding? It working fine with the rr but then when I did front this happened

If the low pedal issue occured after you bled the brakes, then you must of done something wrong during the process. Or...whoever held the pedal while you cracked the bleeders could of pressed too hard and blew the master cylinder.

The pedal should get firm after pumping and holding it, then it should drop when the bleeder screw is cracked open. If you pump the pedal til it gets firm and force it down beyond that point, you risk blowing the master cylinder.

And if the person releases the brake pedal before you tighten back up the bleeder screw, you'll enter air back into the system.

It might just be worth it for you to spend a couple bucks to bring it to a shop. A brake fluid exchange includes bleeding the brakes because its part of the process. The technician will also inspect the entire system and notify you if anythings wrong. If you have drum brakes in the rear, they'll usually adjust those too. Should only be aboit 60-70 bucks at most shops.

Well I can here the master cylinder moving while bleeding the brakes so it sounds ok, I'm Gona try to keep bleeding to see if any improvement. It may be a matter of letting air back I'll see thank you

You sucked a massive amount of air into the system.

It's going to be a major PITA to get it out now.

If you're alone, you might just try a gravity bleed.

Pita? And I also snapped a bleeder screw while trying, but I bled by loosening the line, does the broken one matter, it wasn't loosened from its spot

PITA = Pain In The Ass

You cannot bleed the brakes by loosening the line.

You either need to get the broken bleeder out and replaced with a new one, or or just buy a new caliper.

Either way, you are done until you take care of what's broken. Stop bleeding and stop wasting fluid for now.
