Blew D2 coilover in 2 week

So today i was driving after lowering my car more yesterday and heard some metal on metal from my brakes.. so i take my tire off and see a oily substance everywhere.. touch my coil and its just covered.. not brake fluid like i thought .. took the coil out and the thing is blown to shitt.. i have less than 500 miles on them too and already blew one.. :mad: heated after spending all day yesterday trimming fender well and bending a tab of metal in fender well that almost popped my tire..

wow thats messed up contact d2. and let them know. thats why i stay with my kyb agx but about 60k on them still going strong and stiff

ya i always thought of d2 to be over rated . i rather get some kyb agx or even the skunk 2 full suspension or omni power full coilover

thanks man if i need help ill hit u up.. as for now i got stock suspension in the front and slammed in the back still haha.. but i got my beater for now or until i raise the rears to a good 4x4 height..

i debated that for a while it was only 200 or so more but all my boys got one piece coils slammed so i figured i couldnt go wrong..

i know a few ppl with them that havent had a problem so kinda sucks for me i guess.. hopefully the strut in the coil was just bad or something..

its actually my fault it blew.. i moved the spring up to try and stiffen it more which ur not suppose to do since they raise/lower by the whole coilover lengthening or shortening.. but it just surprised me that it blew in literally 30-40 miles max..

oo i had that on the old coupe haha .. even better the shocks were blown haha..
