  • Best Ngk plugs?

Wats up guy I have a 95 gsr and I'm looking to buy Ngk spark plugs, auto zone tells me I need double platinum of oem replacement, which are 13$ each!! Dies anyone know of iridium or single platinum or others are ok? I only want Ngk, any info helps, thanks guys

I'm pretty sure that the GSRs came just normal platniums from the factory.

I've ran double platniums in every car I've had and havent had a problem, the iridiums tend to run hotter and its not really needed for a motor that was orginial set for platniums.

So just stick with double platnium I'd say.

i run reg copper plugs in all my setups, race or stock, 2.29 per plug part number 5553, you run a different heat range depending on your setup (boosted, nitrous, etc)

the regular irids are only good for 30,000-40,000 miles the plats will last longer but cost more up front so your probably better off paying more now for the long run.i believe they now have long life irids good for 60,000.

Does anyone know if single platinum is ok? Auto zone say only double platinum is oem spec but I think that's cuz they're the most expensive lol
