Do you have a link to some info?
I googled it and can only find the cheap $50 ebay sleeves by that name. If thats what youre talking about, they are all identical and sold under a hundred different brand names.Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.

They are not adjustable so it is unlikely they are a product of HD Systems in Korea or Bor Chuan in Taiwan, as those two companies make 99% of the coilover brands on the market.
I really can't comment on these because I know nothing about them.
But if it were me, I'd probably go for the cheapest set of sleeves I could find and the best set of shocks I could afford.
That way if you don't like what you end up with, the financial impact is minimal.
Ebay sleeves and KYB shocks are a great cheap alternative.
If you want really cheap, I've been running C8 Sport shocks on my CRX for six months now, and I'm surprised how good they are for $115 a set.
They are yellow in color, so I call them Phony Yellows as sort of a stab at Koni Yellows, LOL.
Add a set of $50 sleeves (i think there is someone selling a new set on the forum) to the C8's, and you are in business for next to nothing.
Another plus to running a pieced together kit is that if you have a shock go bad, you can replace just that shock and go on your way. Can you buy just one single DNA coilover assembly? You might, I have no idea, but $30 for one new C8 is cheaper for sure.Last edited by testify; 07-04-2014, 05:52 PM.Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.

The sleeves should come with springs and an upper spring perch that you would use in combination with your stock top hats.
So you would have to reuse the top hats from your stock shocks.
There is another option though.
If you are planning to lower more than say, an inch and a half, I would recommend a set of drop hats to extend the life of your shocks. Although they arent necessary, they are nice to have and it keeps the shock working in its correct range. If you use extended top hats, you do not need to use the upper spring perches that come with the sleeves, or your***top hats from your old shocks, they replace both.
I run the Ground Control extended top hats which are identical to the ebay ones, except I got to pay twice as much ;-)Last edited by testify; 07-04-2014, 06:43 PM.Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.

If you buy the extended top hats, you dont need the silver hats that comes with tge coilovers, or tge top hat from whatever is on your car now.
You will only need the extended top hat, sleeve, spring, shock, bump stop, done.Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.
