NEED ADVICE: Fog lights installation.

I bought this car and it came with eBay fog lights:

Those fog lights come with the wiring for the OEM installation which should go like this:

But I don't have that wiring. All I have is two cables coming from each fog light. Nothing else.

So I was thinking to connect them to the corner lights (parking lights/running lights).

What do you guys think? Any advices? I was thinking it could over heat the corner lights wiring.

I think they also need to be connected directly to 12v battery.

Any suggestion? Thank you!

I also had mines like that long time ago but the lights from the fog lights blew like in two or three months of use.

Did you ever got them on for over an hour?
Did you ever touched the wires to see how hot they were?

Another thing that concerns me is how thick are the fog lights wires compared to the little skinny corner lights wires.

I'm thinking to connect them directly with a switch but if I forget to turn the switch off it will drain the battery. And this is illegal too because fog lights shouldn't be on while the headlights are off or while the high beams are on too.

Yes. Legally fog lights can be on only while the low beams are on. That's why the factory cars come with a relay, to turn fog lights off if you turn lights off or turn high beams on.

Well I found a toggle switch with a light.

So I'm going with the regular direct 12v with a switch.
