where you guys with lowered cars getting your emissions done?..ive always brought my cars to roberts dodge in meriden.. forever..never had a problem...all of a sudden they refuse to do it..got denied at a few other places too and my car is only on lowering springs..any one know of a place??

thanks guys..good to know..they used to just pull my cars up to the ramp..without actually having to pull it all the way up onto the ramp..owned lowered cars my whole life..never ever had a problem with going to emissions untill now..got denied at 3 places..now they saying dmv has cameras on them at all times and theyre alot more strict and cant do that...i found a place in wallingford..frenchy's auto repair...they just use the pad you drive over..he did it..no problems..if anyone else knows of any other spots post up..always good to knowComment

yea..havent been to emissions in 2 years..they seem ALOT more strict on lowered vehicles then they ever where for some reason..places ive been to many times with cars alot lower than my current car told me to kick rocks...so anyone that needs to go..frechy's auto repair in wallingford will do it..or like these guys said getty on boston ave in bridgeport are optionsComment

I think the car needs to be 25 years old to be considered for no emissions.
But I need to check this out because my CRX wont pass unless I fix whatever problem it has that it's burning too much fuel.

Yes, 25 years is exempt. I regi'd my Crx last month and I put white plates. The lady at dmv told me don't even stress emissions because next year I'll be exempt (the cars a 1990)Money ain't a thing! Crew Member #1

Aguas Buenas at Hartford will also get the car in the machine with two 2 by 6 wood to get the car up the ramp.
That's how they did mine 2 years ago. I don't know now...
