Thermostat probably, is it a new swap or did it just start doing it out of nowhere?

        Start with the basics...
Check coolant for proper level, keep and eye out for leaks, and bleed the system of air if necessary.
Inspect radiator cap for damage or wear. I usually replace them with an OEM cap if its an aftermarket one or looks really old.
Replace the thermostat because thats most likely your problem.
If the T-stat doesnt do the trick, I would look for a bad water pump or clogged heater core (worse case scenerio)

Pretty sure the lower hose leads to the thermostat. Good luck with everything
