CT emissions help?

Just bought a Rsx with check engine light on. Was told by DMV to bring it to emissions within a month. I know that it will fail emissions, but when I bring it in are they still going to go through with the whole test? Also anybody know if I fail, would my registration be canceled? Or will i still be able to drive it until my registration expires in two years?

But u still had to get another test done LOL......get ur cat fixed they can suspend ur reg nd when the boys get behind u it comes up not reged

never got it fixed. never had a problem.

I had a del sol with NJ title got it registered with temp plates
Had to go to emissions it had a gsr swap no cat. I failed with flying colors
But I went to DMV and got my hard plates even tho I failed. Once your reg expires in two years you will have to pay a 20 dollar late fee and go re test and you can fail again.
But with odb 2 you can't even have the check engine light on they won't test it.
