Plastidip on flat primer paint?

My car is primered flat black. If I plastidip over the primer will it still peel off without leaving a residue like on clear coats?

Never tryed it but prolly will still work. Do it on a little part of ur car then see if. It peels off if not just repaint it lol

it will most likely take the primer with it.. if not I doubt there will be a residue if you prep it with the spray.

Why would it peel off the primer? The primer is like paint its not gonna peel off with it. Thats like saying the only thing thats preventing paint from pealing is the clearcoat. Or black rims with white plastidip on it thats like saying its gonna peel the factory black.

because I plasti dipped flat black rotas and it pulled the flat black off in patches with it.

If were talking about the oem Honda body panel un painted black? then no it wont do anything to it.

Its not oem primer black . It appears to be rattle can. Not sure if the body was prepped before it was primed.

Just plasti dip a little section then try to peel it off... Wut else could it hurt the car is already primber

primer wont peel off when u peeling it but is a lil harder to peel off
