CTv iPhone & Android App?

Why go through all the trouble of creating an app from scratch? Ever heard of Tapatalk? It's a forum app. B20VTEC.com supports it. So do many other automobile and non-automobile websites (like xda-developers, CRX community, VWvortex, etc, etc). Why reinvent the wheel when something already exists? Those of us who use it (it is readily available on Google Play, maybe for iOS as well?) already can just add CTvTEC to the list of forums we subscribe to.

Cause you have no control of the app when you deal with them

Its not reinventing something thats already out there. Its simply creating one just for this site. Its just different when you own your own app instead of having a 3rd party

But you never know maybe that will be an option also

i added a bookmark link to my android phone and i click it and brings me to the website but i have to either zoom in or out which can get annoying so if an app is made set a certain size so dont have to zoom in or out

You also don't have to maintain the apps. You will have to make changes every time a new iOS and Android OS are released, and then deal with people complaining about bugs with their phone. It would be a lot of work for something you are giving away for free! And if you are planning on charging for this app... well this ctvtec you KNOW nobody's gonna pay for that here! Honda-tech has their own app and its annoying when you need separate apps for every forum you visit
