The ZC accepts both the SOHC and DOHC ZC head.

there is nothing interesting about it the kid is a fool and has clearly never put his hands on a dohc or even looked over the differences of the motors and or knows any thing about them. if he did he would know that or if he actully knew how to use google he would come across the ZCR web site that is strickly for dohc ZC owners and has all the info needed and he would have found the write up on how much work and drillin and what not is invloved in bolting a DOHC zc head on a SOHC block or the other way around..
or he could see the 200,000 other threads about the topic on the 40 other honda related sites that will all tell him that it wont workRIP Nick

The blocks are the same.
The ZC block is also the exact same block as the Z6.
The large amount of motors you've owned does not mean you have a large amount of knowledge of them, clearly.Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.

no there are not the SOHC D16a ZC block is the same as a Z6 block the DOHC ZC block is different then any other SOHC motor and no parts are able to be interchanged if you are so stuck on that and cant understand it and feel the need to post pics of JDM sohc ZC motors and think they are the same feel free to call the 300 JDM motor importers and ask them for your self if you can interchange parts. from a SOHC d16ZC and a DOHC ZCRIP Nick
