    For what it is worth,

    http://lmgtfy.com/?q=single+cam+ZC .

Automotive Performance and Luxury Product Review Forum that's like a dysfunctional family talking about trucks, cars, brakes, speed, mods, guns, politics, lifestyle, relationships, photography, watches, alcohol and very expensive toys

It can be done. Practical.. NO.. but it can be done somewhat easily.

Z6 on a ZC is fairly common.

Guess your trolling thread didn't work out the way you expected.

The ZC and Z6 shortblocks are the same. The difference is in the heads.

so why dont the head bolts line up? also the zc bolts are 11mm x 1.5 and sohc is 10mm x 1.25 like i said it takes a good amount of machine work to do that and there is a sohc zc vtec which is compatible with the z6 and the d16a1 sohc head fits a dohc zc block same as vise versa

Because the head bolts do line up.

                              What planet are we on?

Don't answer that. Your answer would scare me.

What you posted claiming the head bolts dont line up are actually numbers that represent the diameter and pitch of the head bolts, and the threads in the block.

Just use ZC headbolts for a ZC block or Z6 headbolts for c a Z6 block or go to McMaster Carr or Fastenal and get literally any bolt you want.

                              The holes, do line up.
