Heres the official final scoop

I used to make money off this site and it used to pay for my time and effort to do many things. Google has changed their publisher payout systems which means if I used to make 1 dollar a day from this website, its no where near that anymore.
So from google I do not make money anymore, it just covers my expenses on servers. In order to make money, people must click on the ads.


I used to also have vendors that pay for advertising or were paying in different ways. Those advertisers do not want to pay a small fee that I was giving them because they grew their cliental and now do not need ctvtec anymore cause their name grew on here. and are claiming they donot get any business from here. I know that's all bull shit but its ok, shows what type of serious business people are running and cannot afford 75 dollars a month haha


Taking care of spam bots does not cost ANYTHING. It doesn't take much to update a code, but the thing is what ever new code someone creates, there is always a hacker that is viewing it at the same time as I am installing it and you just cannot keep up with them. Another thing is we do have a lot of mods on here already, I do not want to make the entire site mods. But when I do make people mods, they see how hard it is to be a mod so they start to give up on the site and it pushes the mods away from here.

I am currently in Europe myself, so I cannot keep up that much with the spams, but we do have mods and im pretty sure they are trying their best to clear this up.

If anyone has any ideas, opinions etc let me know.

Yea half the mods don't come on here,, and one only comes on here to post things for sale. Maybe u need to take a look at the mods activity. Like 7 members idea was steaksauce for mod, give the people what they want lol

My point was no matter who i put as a mod, they will co ti ue to do the same as the rest. They get tired of it. They are doing it for free and we have people here that dont know how to show respect and follow rules. What else is there to do, make everyone a mod?
Every one that is a mod was a active member thats why everyone picked them for a mod..

And i cannot just make anyone a mod on here. I have to somewhat know the person myself. Its not that easy

I think steak sauce would be a good mod, he loves this site and is always on it, I saw him recently post something about him making a mistake about something and he apolgized and said it was because he was driving, I mean c'mon who goes on ctv while there driving, he obviously is dedicated to this site

I am not going to use that as an excuse to deliver a sub par platform to my clients.

I also have 2 other jobs. I own a restaurant, and also own a electricity company.
I go back and fourth to jobs and also back and fourth on websites cause i own more then 1.

Just wanted to clear it up that im not crying cuz i want to make money to keep up

My point is, i do what i can to prevent the spams, its just there are hackers out there that are always trying to bypass the new codes.
I am always updating codes and trying new ones for spam.

It's funny how everyone suddenly cares so much about the site now, and like to criticize us for this... but when we work hard to do things like setting up track days for example - no one cares enough then to support the site by racing in the track event (I haven't been getting ANY responces). But when it inconvienences you personally like spam being all over your thread THEN you suddenly care about the site so much!

BTW I just deleted a bunch of spam for you guys.. your welcome!

We also have bigger problems than robotic spam, YOU ALL spam the site with your fucking BUMPS every 2 seconds but you get mad when those posts get deleted!

everything you just said is the name of the game. People are going to continue to shit on you and this sight. Sorry about that.

Bottom line is this. If its that much of an inconvenience to A. Be a mod or B. Maintain the sight properly, then just stop doing it. Close the sight or dont be a mod.

Im a member on a TON of forums, and none of them have these problems, and the mods do there jobs with out complaining.
