Universal shift knobs?

I'm looking to re-do my interior a bit, but ran into a little problem with my shifter. I have a 2005 Acura TL (6MT), and the previous owner installed a short-throw shifter. The shifter isn't threaded, and the diameter of the shifter is too thick to thread (tried with tap and dye). I'm stuck with my stock knob for now, which is a universal knob with three allen screws on the neck. It looks like that's what I'm going to be stuck with because I don't want to change out the shifter.

Does anyone know where I can find some universal shift knobs (with the three allan screws), or maybe an adapter for screw-on shift knobs?

It seems impossible that he cut it because the shift height is already high enough as it is. Even still, I need to find a replacement.

I don't know of a production shifter with no threads. And a short shifter for cable shifters doesn't usually change the actual shifter
