  • Looking for a part time job.

Hey what's up Ctvtec. I am looking for a part time job. As I already have a full time first shift job. I currently work in a machine shop/rapid prototype shop and I do alot of different things. Some of the task I tackle on day to day basic is:

    Running Haas CNC machines
    Running Mitsubishi EDM wire machines
    Both manual Bridgeports & lathes
MasterCam programming mostly 2D/3D but I have used 4th axis
I also setup and run Viper SLA machines using 3D systems software
I can setup & run Object 3D printers
I am currently learning the process of vaccum casting and rubber molding

I am a very dedicated worker and I love to learn anything anyone is willing to teach me. I pick up on things very fast so learning new things isn't hard for me. I always feel a sense of pride in my work no matter what it is.

I would like to get a job using the skills I already have but I just need another job to make some more money. I would love a hand on job where I can learn something new but right now anything will do.

I'm looks for something from after 4pm. I'm looking to get around 20-25 hours a week. Let me know if anyone can use my skills and talent or if you just know of a place that's hiring.

I just work for a BIG corporation and have to deal with all the BS that come with working for a BIG corporation. People I work with make VERY good money I just haven't been moved up the ranks yet due to my job having hiring freezes and layoffs this past summer so I'm kind of being dragged along right now.

Lol, I am pretty much in the same situation. I set up and run mechanical and CNC spring coiling and forming machines. I need a part time 4-7 job too. Crazy. Manufacturing jobs have taken a shit in the last few years. CT is trying to get them all to close.

Try looking for janitorial positions at local school districts to you..sometimes they are looking for either part-time evening peeps or they are looking for "subs" when the full-time guys call out...

Usually could pay between 14-18 dollars an hr...or more pending experience...hours pending on the position...

Where you located? PM me and I could maybe steer you through some websites that have postings like that...

That is if your interested, good luck to you...

Yea it's getting really rough but it can be a good thing for the little bit of ppl who are talented if you find a place that really need it.
