  • Lost my alarm remote need input

I lost my keys over the weekend and it had my alarm remote on it.
I have a spare key but not remote the alarm came with the car. I think it's located under the steering unit? Idk but any suggestions would help. I appreciate it

Would I be able to remove it? Or am I better off buying a new remote?

Just buy a new remote. Unless you don't care. Then just unplug the brain.

check the model number on the shock sensor or brain usaully mounted around the stearing colum. there will also be a # to the manufacture so you can order a new remote if they offer that, not really sure. or the other choice is take it all out and intall a new one.

Took out the brain for the alarm, go to start and my spare doesn't work....goes in ignition won't turn at all though. Figured the last owner got keys from different Hondas mixed up so I went down to Hobda of Danbury and have them my cars vin. They give me a new key I get back home and same problem. I don't know why an OEM Honda key made from the dealer for my specific car won't start it o_O any other help will be appreciated
