  • 02 sensor in cat?

    wats up ctvtec
im planning on installing a cat back exhaust system on my 2000 integra
the header i am planning to get has a place for the 02 sensor
the cat on new exhaust doesnt
seeing that i have two 02 sensors
one in the header and one in the cat
what can i do with the 02 sensor that goes in the cat?
is there a way to block it off?
or do i need to get a hold drilled for the o2?

    any info helps
    thanks in advance

If the cat back does not come with an o2 bung then one would need to be welded on. But it begs the question of is it a super cheap exhaust or is it for the obd1 integra? Check to make sure you are receiving the correct one.

Maybe $50. Email the people selling the exhaust and just ask them if the cat back has a bung for the downstream o2 sensor. They should be able to tell you.
