title help asap?????

i bought a car tonight and the kid just registered it 3 weeks ago so no title yet

but im going to dmv with him tomorrow just wanna know what i can do to get the title for the car without registereing it seeing the car needs a motor first and some minor tlc

any info is appreciated

nothing, he can put a rush on it but thats it. he cant fill out the transfer of ownership papers until the title was physically already printed and lost or w.e. Titles are coming in faster now so shouldnt be much more then 2 weeks on top of his already waited 3.

i know the kid i met him through my close friend and know he just registered it but hes moving soon so i gotta hope dmv helps or try and wait

he can just change the address so it gets mailed to you instead

I suggest you getting the transfer of ownership paper that needs to be notarized and have him put HIS signature on it. then u can go to DMV whenever u are ready to register.

thanks i was waiting on your input i knew you knew about these things and ill just get that tomorrow and have it notarized in the dmv parking lot at the little vendor

u need his regi papers and a bill of sale and tha title can be transfered into ur name...fill out tha form and get it noterized and u should be all set.....btw i have a driver side seat if u need ;)
