All I am simply stating is that the logical thing to do in your situation would be to buy something nice and reliable and put the money in the bank. Things happen and deals come along, you do not have to run out and buy a house the day you get the check although it will burn a hole in your pocket. Hold on to it make sure you're making the right decision with that amount of cash. I am in a similar situation, I would love to run out and buy a new car but then I would have to sacrifice my education and potentially not finish school. Logically thinking I've chose to fight the urge and live with what I have because whether it is my Jeep or a Lambo it will get me to the same destination but a fraction of the cost. Besides people scratch the shit out of cars anyways because they cannot park.
good luck on your decision.Go kick a boulder

id say go with the wagon. its a sick ass daily driver with little mods done to it. it has room for your family to go places, more then likely it will come with a decent warranty so you wont have to use alot of money from your pocket in the beginning. if your not ready for a house thats respectable. I love the wagon and thats a car that can be driven every season with no issues. Plus with the Si and the Evo people will still be eyeing it for the wheels and minor accessories you may add on ( still living with the headache of thieves). not saying the wagon doesnt attract them but just look around the forums here, Hondas will be first choice.
Good luck with a purchase
