My gas light doesn't work, 00 coupe. Anyone know how I can fix this, and anytime i put my defrosters on my windshield my AC goes on automatically WHY?

a/c goes on bc it helps with the fog same ************ with mine and idk why gas light dont work u dont need it if u fill up at 1/2 tank save money that way

if the gas light doesnt work the bulb in the cluster might be bad.

the reason the a/c goes on when you defrost the window is because it takes the moisture out of the air so it doesnt make your windows fog up even more. most cars do this

AC doesnt help in the winter, i know its good for summer, and rain.

a/c actually works better in the winter for defogging your window imo :D

yes.. it helps wonders in the winter. just dont breathe hard with your hot breath and the defoggin will help. as for your gas light. check your bulb. if it isnt the bulb... its prolly a dumb sensor.
