8th generation transmssion/ 3rd gear TSB.

Just bought an 07 Si with 77k, car is mint except for the dreaded 3rd gear grind. I've read about this is multiple forums and heard that dealerships will only replace the gear box up to 75k. I've heard they might replace it under good will because its only 2k over. Can anyone give me some guidance that has possibly had experience with this or works at a dealership? Thanks.

Just pay niceguy to rebuild it the right way and it'll be better then brand new and proly last longer.
