short ram vs. cold air??

looking into buying an intake for my integra, i see that short rams are alot cheaper... any opinion on which is better cold air or short ram??

Well I always heard hot air is bad for your motor.

There's only a small amount of change in hp between the two. Like 2-5 hp.
