  • What to do?

    Took at look at one of my wheels jus now and seen this? IDK what to do looking for advice. I feel like just spending some extra money on spare tires this size.

      as long as it doesnt go past the shoulder, it can be plugged. i wouldnt sweat it, spray a little bit of soapy water to see if its actually leaking or not. you couldve just drove over a small screw, sometimes they dont even go all the way thru

                    Best rule is to keep a one inch margin from the edge of the tire. If it is outside of that, just patch/plug it. But I wouldn't do more than two patches/plugs per tire. Also be careful of the cheap plug kits. A lot come with needles that have a closed loop at the end. That will do nothing but pull the plug back out. I got a bunch of those for free and used my die grinder to make an opening at the bottom of the loop so the plug can slide out when you remove the needle. Also if you use one of those plug kits, when removing the needle, don't just yank it out, go at an even pull and twist at the same time.
