I agree.....I just signed onto this site but I'm well known on many other sites which is why my started threads are well detailed.... the spammer thing has to stop it will eventually turn people off from signing in at all.....

1. New users shouldn't be able to post things up for sale for at least 72 hours AND have at MINIMUM 50 posts.. (People who have been on here for years shouldn't have to compete with noobs who only come here to sell things for less money and never contribute)

2. On many other websites the 1st private message you receive is from admin (automated) which provides links to threads where the rules are explained and sample threads with the universal format for any sale has to be organized before posting... would cut down alot of BS

3. All motor/tranny sales MUST have pictures of the Vin# If its JDM then the block serial# which every honda comes with... transmissions also this will cut down many stolen parts from being sold publicly on here & hopefully scale back the motivation for thieves to even steal since they know it will be harder to sell/move parts.....

4. ALL parts MUST have a photo with a paper or card with the users name written on it & date, this way potential buyers can see the item is actually in the sellers possession and not just a copied google image..also to stop people from posting clean pics from 6 months ago & when you show up the item is in way less desirable condition as the photo shows...

5. There should be a thread/database of stolen parts that have serial#/photo of username/date... so in the event it gets stolen an alert can be put out to look for these parts.. Example:

JDM Gsr serial# 000001 (Written out on a card next to the motor & serial#)
date: 8/24/2012
If someone is trying to sell this please contact me at 203-xxx-xxxx reward will be given

how great would it be to know that if your car got stolen, people would be able to check a sellers serial# against our own personal database of registered parts to prove & possibly track down your stuff? Might get confusing but its a start and theives hate anything that makes their jobs harder to make a profit..
