J35 swap emission/inspection/registration in CT

hey ctvtec i was wondering if anyone knew anything about registering a jswap civic. would it be ok to pass emissions and registration as far as having a J35 swap or would it have to be stock motor or another 4 cylinder to pass. or does it even matter? cuz the motor straight pops through the hood and you can tell its a Jswap
