  • Do not buy Mobil1 Oil Filters!!!

Look at this bullsh!t, I finally got my car back 3 days ago, after fixing the headgasket issue and putting in the headstuds. I'm driving real easy, not even getting to 5KRPM, I park my car on new years eve, and call it a night.

Next morning, my boy takes the car from my house and calls me and tells me that something happened, that the motor started knocking, and that it was completely out of oil, and in top of that, that the oil filter bottom piece was attached to the block, but the outer shell was not.

I'm pissed, so I go outside to smoke a ciggarette, and the friking oil filter was right there where the car was parked. I picked it up and brought it home.

Today, I called Mobil, which actually turned out to be Champion Filters!!!
After threating them with the State's attorney, they quickly told me that they are sending me a return box and to put the filter there, along with any pictures, and documentation and that withinn 15 days, I should see a check in the mail..

But, neverless, don't buy that crap, use Fram, or Honda OEM (also made by Fram)

fram? are you serious? fram filters don't even have a check valve in them. probably the worst filter you can buy. i stay with purolator or bosch filters on the honda, and factory mitsu. on the talons.

OEM Honda Filters are the best in my eye's. I have changed 10's of thousands of these without issues, & hey if there motors run 200,000-300,000 miles on them, then hey there good enough for me. OEM always the best.
