I look at it this way. The "scene" has about 3 categories. You have your (what I like to call) "Kids with Nyce1s dreams" those are the dudes who grab a honda throw pointless decals all over it (jdm as fuck, domo, shocker, All Motor etc) they lower their car from the front, raise the rear, throw a stock swap and claim there ready to run anyone.

Then you have your proper Function over Form crowd. (Which i have the upmost respect for) these guys restore their cars to near prefection with real parts, real wheels. And most of them are doing it simple and proper.

Then you have the Static crowd, ( which i am not ashamed to say Im more affiliated with this style crowd) Why? Because i love the aspect of having a clean CLEANNN ride, and lowering it on fitted wheels just because it looks good ,no fucks given. Although some of us in this crowd may not care for function, me (daily drivers) i care about my function and how my car handles on the road. So ill take the extra mile to Slam|Hammer|Dump my car the proper way. Not just cutting springs and hoping for the best.

As for the offset wheels and sticker bombing. If its clean, and the owner likes it, it shouldnt matter to the spectator, thats where YOUR CAR comes in, and you get to show us how its done (in your eyes). Most of the time the critics drive a peice of shit car anyway.

Btw This thread is Worthless Without pics of the OP Ride. Show us how you're doing.

Except the term static because static means sitting at a certain ride height year round. No matter if its 1 inch of the ground or 3 from the ground on either coils or shocks and lowering springs. Not raising it cause its "about to snow and i'm to low" or "can't make it into driveways" BS.... If you claim your going to be static then deal with things following being that low
