  • laws restricting gutted interior? and other legal questions.

I am trying not to break too many laws here.

I am wondering about removing seats and restraints.

I also can't find much on regulating Nitrous oxide. I have heard but can't confine that you can have it as long as the bottle is not connected to the system when you are on the road.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's some other stuff o found that may come in handy to some people.

I found that no certified shop can legally remove srs but the owner can and if you remove it you are required to tell any buyer if you sell the car.

I also found some other info on ride height. Like that the minimum ground clearance for any part supported by the suspension is 4".
i made a pixelcar for my sig but i'm too lazy to pm a moderator.

thanks for the information,as far as nitrous goes i have heard you can have the bottle in the car just not connected unless you enter a track event, once you leave the track officals must check your car and make sure there is no remaining nitrous oxide in the bottle, rather you sprayed once or didnt spray there required for you to remove/use all nitrous prior to leaving there raceway

Bottle is correct, it cannot be connected while on the road. SRS is a $10K fine if u remove it and get caught. seat belts are mandatory, but you can take out seats.

Mines not slammed I wouldn't do that I don't have camber kits nor need them I love my ride height I don't have to worry bout stupid speed bumps either I don't scrape the exhaust going straight over the bumps

Mine is slammed. I know it does not help handling. The only performance I am worried about involves a straight line. Optimum handling OS supposed to offer when control send are parallel to the road.

Lol no cops said shit about my car being illegally low, I've gotten pulled over 3 times in the past week for a tail light out and they asked if I knew I was sparking. They don't care which is good. When I got towed yesterday a cop laughed at me since the truck made me drive up it when the chains wouldn't get under where they had to go.

If I am not mistaken that is the fine for any business or mechanic that knowingly disables srs. I found a site that says federal law allows the cars owner to remove it. But I don't one what Ct state law might say.
