How sad is it that there are so many thieves on CTvTEC that the admin actually felt it necessary to add an amber alert section to the forum for members' cars getting stolen? Seriously this site must have a
7 to 1 thief ratio on it. It begs me to ask the question: How many people on here steal or have used (or made money off of) stolen parts before? If I were a betting man I'd bet everything I had that it's
more than 90% of the members on here. I somebody offered me a stolen complete swap for free I still wouldn't take it. For those of us who don't lower ourselves to being thieves, would you ever
race someone with stolen parts? I don't know about the rest of you, but personally I won't even give them the opportunity to run me, even if I know I can beat them.
This is how we have to be. If we don't race thieves and have some ethics then just maybe a few of them will actually try to work for what they have. I don't care if you have a fully built
k series and you're running 10s. In my mind you get no credit because you're a thief. I saw a red EG at Honda Day in E-town with an H2B swap with the VIN popped off the tranny and the
rivets still intact. I put that car on blast to everyone admiring the car and pointed out how that tranny is stolen. Maybe he didn't steal the tranny himself and bought it from someone who
stole it. In my mind it doesn't make any difference. That day was sad. I saw swarms of K-series civics running 17 second passes and one idiot actually forgot to hit the brakes at the end
of his pass and spun out into the sand at the end of the track! Even the announcer guy was making fun of him.
What got you all into the Honda game? For me, I wanted to do something different because I had a classic muscle car and I wanted to challenge myself to see if I could build a Honda that
could beat it. When it comes to cars and women, I like to say I've had everything the world has to offer instead of sticking with the same thing. Now I'm at the point of staying with a few
of them and having at least a Honda for a DD because I have lifetime warranties on EVERYTHING and I know how to do the work myself. But with all the sh!t that goes down (especially on CTvTEC)
with talking sh!t and stealing, its pretty clear that this game (for the most part) has gone to the lowlifes and it sucks! A lot of you guys don't know anything but Hondas! Like if you were to open
the hood of another car (GM, Ford, VW etc.) you would have no clue about them (you guys know who you are out there).
I can bet that most of you can agree that you didn't get into the game because you wanted to hang out at McDonald's or Wendy's with a bunch of 19-year-old thieves who do burnouts in the
parking lot. Its time to separate the classes. If someone has a killer build but had to steal to get there, don't run him . Don't even give him credit because he doesn't deserve any. Just pass on
the word that he's a thief and let karma bite him in the a$$.
The legitimate racing scene is where its at for me. There are all makes of cars there so you're not just racing the same old Hondas all the time. There's always a handful of women there for those
of you who are single and it caters to a higher class of people. Have any of you ever driven on backroads in Europe? Once you open it up over there, going straight just doesn't do it anymore.
Oh, and by the way, in this scene, popping your hood is REQUIRED (for full inspection). And you actually have to know how to REALLY drive (like going into those things called CORNERS).
If any of you took the time to read all of this and are tired of these stupid little thieves running around, I extend you the olive branch to come to a more distinguished and more mature racing scene.
We do autocross for the most part, but we go on the real race tracks too (Lime Rock, Pocono Raceway, and soon Raceway Park's new circuit). If you ever wanted to put your car on a REAL
race track (and I'm not knocking those of you who run on REAL dragstrips, I respect your craft as well), you can do so for only $500 for the day. It's a small price to pay in comparison to how much
you've already dumped into your car and it's quite a thrill. You'll never want to go back to the street racing/thief scene.
Oh yeah, and if you're a thief and you read this and don't like what I wrote, FU¢K YOU! If you ever try to steal my car I will find it in minutes and shoot you with my REGISTERED 12-gauge because
you life will be worthless to me. I'll have to go through court and deal with the B.S. but you'll be dead and will never get the opportunity to see hat happens to me. You're just pissed
because you're a thief and you get no credit.
