I bet theres been plenty of post for this but im not gonna search all around this site for them. So maybe 1 more post wont hurt. I got this dumb letter in the mail for Jury Service. Its my first time getting this and I dont really wanna go. Fuck Connecticunt. How can i avoid this? Do i have to appear? Help me out

Just skip it. They wont mind. You dont even have to tell em you cant make it. They'll just make you another appointment later on.

You better throw out the letter away, if they do go to your house just tell them you didn't receive anything they don't have no prove if you did or not .

tell them ur a stay at home dad and u have no one to watch ur kid , that was my real excuse and they will honor it

there are lots of ways out of jury duty.... but chances are you wont even have to go anyways

just get it over with.. its not as bad as i thought it was gonna be. Couple hours chillen in the courthouse and then they let you go.

The first one I didn't go, so they rescheduled me 6 months later then I send the later saying I couldn't make it so they rescheduled me a year later finally few months back I had to go, I said fuck it i'll show, so I show up was there for like 6 hours and at the end they didn't needed me (those fucking fuckers wasted my time) but at least I didn't had to "view" a case,...... they told me that in 5 years from now then they might rescheduled me to reappear which i'm going to rescheduled, LOL.

So if I was you either show up or keep rescheduling.

Oh yeah, I got lucky too cause the day I had to go, my friend also was there ^^ (Daddieyakee32) ^^ which was weird and cool cause you not there by yourself looking a walls and books at least they're was someone you know to talk to.

The jury pool is its own network it dosnt correspond with anythiong else. My father got 1 in the mail with my name on it when i was 18 and he sent it back saying i was deceased without me even knoing, im 28 and havnt gotten 1 since lol
