looking for a pit

i'm looking to get a blue nose pit puppy. looking for a male, preferably grey/white. not looking for something with clipped ears. don't need papers certifying breed or anything like that, i just want a pet. not a mean one, just a good-hearted goofy pit lol. we just bought a place, so it's time for a puppy.

not looking to spend like $1000 on a dog.

where's a good place to look? I'd prefer to adopt and save a dog's life rather than buy one from a breeder looking to make money

i've checked petfinder and shit like that already. does anyone know of any litters, or a good place to find one?

look into the stratford animal shelter they often get puppies in its worth to see if they have one you like i believe its 100 if they are spayed/nuetered already, also i googled pitbull puppies for sale in CT and i found my blue/red nose for 200. g/l finding your puppy

n.p. ... just a fyi dont know if you have delt with a puppy thats 8 weeks lol but i dont recommend it he was just weened off his mom and he was waking me up every 2 hrs to take him to the bathroom and eat .. seriously i recommend the 3+ month range

Doug, My mom is very heavily involved with the greyhound rescue and so am I and my girlfriend. I will try to pm you a list of VERY reputable Pit rescue organizations. I know STARS in stratford has a few and theres a big event called pet-a-palooza next wekend in bridgeport where all of the animal rescue groups will be.

Glad you'd rather adopt then get from a breeder.
