Sell car without title question

Hello,
I previously purchased a car and registered the vehicle the following day I bought it. My friend looked at the car and decided she would like to buy it but I don't have a title in hand. How would I go about transfering ownership of the car to her name? Could someone please help if you've gone through this.

she can go regi it wit ur regi papers and a new bill of sale...no need for title search cuz title wus given...jus when u get tha new title fron the dmv(if u even get it cus once u regi it under her name title shud tranfer and come into her name)but jus incase ur too late and title is already on its way keep tha title u get and give it to her cus theyll need tha title number

Thank you for your help. I'll notify her and will I have to attend the DMV with her when she registers the vehicle? I doubt it's been sent yet since I registered the car early Saturday morning (4-21-2012).

I know man! This always happens to me but she likes it so I'll sell it to her and buy something else lol. I also bought the car on Friday (4-20-2012).
