h22 in civic?

this thread seriously hurts my brain. of course an h22 will fit in a civic, and an h2b with an ls tranny is not a waste. my boys got one right now 200whp with a niceguy ls tranny and that shit fucking rips

the jdm h22 is not the shortiest gearing the b16 gsr tranny r way shorter, ok now google it if u want i dont care that how i got my info (fully built g23) the 90-93 f22 tranny has the shortest gear out of any h or f series tranny but not even close enough to b16 gsr but shorter than the ls

he didn't say the jdm h22 is the shortest gearing tranny. He just said it's shorter then a ls tranny. Because the dude above said he was going h2b with a ls trans. Which is a waste. Might as well stay h22 trans. Re read what he wrote. You must have read it wrong.

going h2b with a ls tranny big ass waster of like 2 g's (tranny clutch axles shift linkage h2b kit) h22 trannys r perfect for turbo also... and i hope mr niceguy put diff gears in that h2b with a ls tranny cuz that motors not ripping because it has a ls tranny its ripping because it has decent hp with nice trq

Let's be honest here and realistic all at the same time. It's your first swap, you are not going K, it's really pricey and even if you were... You damn sure aren't getting a type R motor. Comparing an h22 to a k series is just stupid, h22 with an LS tranny is like having a low compression all motor car! It's just stupid. Do yourself a favor and put a little LS vtec set up in your car with a Gsr or b16 tranny and it'll feel like a 10 second car to you. Just do us a favor and do not make a call out thread when it's done.
