I got a 2004 tsx purchased from schaller honda in new britain. It's got an extended warranty which is paid for every month so it was an add on to the deal. I'm anxious to lower it and am curious if anyone knows if lowering springs would void any/all of the warranty. My fiance and I aren't happy with the cornering and I'm getting sick of the wheel gap.

And yes I know I could just put the stock springs back in if anything happens but if something happens where it has to be towed I don't really want to tow it to my house and then tow it to the dealer.

Just seeing what you guys have to say I don't feel like calling and asking. Lol

if u touch the suspencion of the car and bring it back to the dealer like that they will void your suspencion warranty just get one piece suspencion it will be a lot easyer to exchange if something happens

No, unless the dealer can prove that your lowered suspension caused whatever the issue is.

It MIGHT void the warranty on all suspension parts, but if something foes wrong with the motor, then it has NOTHING to do with the suspension.

Just call and ask, don't say who you are, just ask them if you got a extended warranty and added BETTER springs to the car, if it can void the warranty.

Yes it will... when I broke my S2K not so long ago I had to put EVERYTHING stock back to it... guy at the dealer told me to put everything back because they will find a way to link the damage to what you did or took out... even tho my damage was in the head (spark plug tread went bye bye) they could say damage occurred when I powder coated my VC..

my extended warranty is with First Automotive. I dont know if yours work the same way

I had a 04 corolla xrs back a couple years ago and i brought it in for service. the service manager made it a point to walk me out to my car..... Along the way to my car he explained to methat my cai was voiding my warantee. he was cool about it but he told me unless the dealer installs it my warantee would be void....... but thats Toyota for ya
