guys, i know that the monitors are supposed to take time/miles/driving to turn on.

i also know that you can pass with a max of 2 monitors not ready.

i also know of people who claim to have reset their battery immediately before doing emissions and having passed.

do i think it's possible? well, i'm not sure. in theory, no, it doesnt make sense. but i've heard more than a few people say it's worked for them. if he's going to fail anyway due to a CEL for whatever reason, then why the fuck not? maybe he'll get lucky?

no man, i know you're not...people passing without readiness monitors activated makes NO sense to me from everything i've heard also...but i've heard from SO many people that they cleared the codes, drove right to emissions, and passed. maybe there's something to it even thought it doesn't make sense?

i passed left emissions and got a code for throttle position lol. just get an obd2a ls ecu and a cat. make sure you have a cat or something that resembles a cat other wise thats an automatic fail to.

odb2 cars are screwy. i had a eclispe last week i ran thru emissions, after i clear the codes the drive cycle monitors clicked off as i drove it down the street in front of my eyes...Then ive have a fucking chevy cavalier thats took days and days of driving just for it to be ready to pass. i hate emissions lol

Yeah I jus registered my car and I paid 350 and then to renew is 60 a year. But there isn't shit to do up here.. emissions are joke up here.. You hook up your scan tool and then just right down the IM readiness
