syncing ipods to different comps

how do I do this?..I have enable disk usage clicked. I right clicked on all my different librarys I wanted to send, and clicked send to (the directory of my ipod). Now When I go to view my ipod thru the directory its says I have all the songs on my ipod, but when I physically look at the ipod library none of the new songs are displayed..

dont sync in man...what i do is that i highlight all the songs i want and then i drag them in to the play list and you should see it load up...but wait a few seconds before taking it out tho...

this is correct

when you sync an ipod with a PC you are in effect making that library your ipods new "home", thus wiping out all your songs and replaceing them with whats on the current library you are using.

as i said to you before.

BUY copy pod and save your ipod to your pc and then just highlight songs off of other peoples PC's and drag them over to your ipod.
this way when you get home you use copy pod to link your ipod (with new songs) to your library (save folder) and you can update your list that way.

ya I think we had this convo before Mike. But Red I already copied all the songs to my ipod..There on it, they just dont show up on any playlists

I can plug my ipod into any comp and get music, I never have any probs.

Last night Shawn I went home an did exactly what you said, I draged all music into my ipod directory..When I look at whats on my ipod thru (my computer)=d drive, it says that all my newly D/L music is there but its not..
