  • 00 front end help!!!!

    Hey i have a 00 si front end on a 98. found out that the guys i bought the car off of put screws from the bumper to the fenders so it could hold up, and their creativity has failed, and my bumper is starting to hang (not alot).

    is their someone who has done a front end that can lmk if this is fixable?
    should i just go to honda and get the clips or w.e. attaches the bumper?

    i dont want to keep using screws because i want to repaint my car, and i dont want to keep going through this.

    Thanks =)

        Try a bolt with a washer on the top(fender) and one washer under the bumper section.that's probably your best bet unless u can still use the factory plastic clip with screw

                    zip ties work, but will more than likely break eventually(even the bigger ones). the nut/washer idea works best if youre tryin to do it quick. or you could just get the clips from the dealer bc theyre cheap as it is and then you know its done right. thats what i would do. a small price to pay for the peace of mind knowing its done correctly
